Had a visitor from Korea, which I had to take care, "baby-sit" for 3 days...
Discussed business situations, Prospecting, Meeting some clients, and ofcourse, developing new items...
Oh well, just thinkin about it gives me headaches... A lot of things to do...
More responsibilities means more challenges.... OOOooooohhh yeaaaaaah... I like it!
I'm up to it...

'nuff said...

Badminton...
Aaaaaah...
my refuge...
a fun sport for me...
A friend of mine told me it's a girlie sport...

Try it... and I'm pretty sure he would pant-to-death after 1 set...
Had a game last friday...
Singles... Not my game... but hey, I still won... heheheh...
Fad?
Maybe... but still, hope it last...
My bebe got mad at me because of badminton... won't tell you of the details though... anyways, it's my fault...
Thankfully she forgave me...
Bebe I learned my lesson...
Did I mention that she beat me 2 saturdays ago?
Hmmmmm... singles really is not my game...
But hey, I got even last Saturday...
Even!
Haha!

Watched Shrek 2 last weekend also...
Fun movie...
Was laughing my heart out in the cinema...
My bebe loved "Puss in boots"... cute...
so damn cute... but deadly... hehehe

Oh by the way, my bebe and I are hitched again with battlerealms... a strategy game... pc... got the upgrade... "Winter of the Wolf"...
yknow that? well...

What to do today...
Lots!
Things to do first...

Life Or Something Like It

Yesterday on my way to the office i saw a beggar on crutches. He tapped on my window and asked politely if i could give him somethin to eat. I was so crushed seeing him in his condition (I think he's about 50ish but looks older)... he's gesturing for some food. I don't encourage giving money, so I gave him the pack of "Lays" which my bebe and I left in the car. He again requested if I have some left-over rice {but unfortunately I left my "baon") because he'll be giving the "Lays" to his "Apo" (grandchildren)... I felt so bad coz I couldn't give him any as he mentioned that he hasn't yet eaten since the night before... he gave all their food to his "Apo"... In this case, I gave some money and told him to please buy something to eat. My conscience took over and thought later, how could the parents... well....

haaaaaay....

there are times that we complain about life...
on how unfair life can be...
on why things are like this and like that...
being envious to others...
and stuff like that...

yesterday was like a slap in the nape for me...
a wake up call you might say...
that I... (or should I say we) should be thankful... always...
On what's given to us...
On what we have...

They say life is unfair... maybe it is... but then again maybe not...
I believe it is not...
It is us who make it unfair...
If we just strive to be better... and do the best in what we do...
... maybe then, we won't feel that life is against us.

...two words...
*Be grateful*

The M Word

Good thing my bebe lend me her extension line, or else I wouldn't have made my continuation...

As my old highschool teacher goes, "let's recapitulate" things that have transpired...

My old friend or should i say very old friend myla,...
(oops... she might bump into this... i did not mean the "old" literally, old per se because we've known each other since Grade 2... been classmates all the way to high school... since Grade 2!!... meaning I was 7 then!.. and now I am 28!!! [she's 29 by the way hehehe]... wow... time does fly fast)
... now where was i...
... oh yah... she texted me while i was still hibernating... that she's gonna hitch a ride going to her office...
On our way to ortigas... we chatted about long lost friends... "who've you seen lately?" and questions on what they were doing... how they were doing... who're still single... and who are married...

hmmmm the magic word... M A R R I A G E... with a capital EMMMMMM
to tell you honestly, if you ask me a couple of years ago on this topic... I would typically say, "what's that?" or "can i look it up in the dictionary for the meaning first?" or stuff like that...
maybe because i wasn't ready yet?
maybe because a lot of my cousins got married early and are now in hard times?
maybe because i was too young?
...more importantly
maybe because i haven't found the right one yet?

that was THEN....

NOW, I can steadfastly say that I want to get married already...
given the right circumstance...
the right time...
the right place...

and this is because i have found the right one, the only one for me...
my Amy Golda May...
i will tell you about that some other time... in detail... but for now, know that our plan to become one is sometime next year... when? hmmmm... next time nga ko wento...

...so where was i...
back to our other friends who are married already...
We were chatting about them...
on how their lives are now... on how they've already conquered it... passed it... and have a successful one...

There were four of us during highschool days who were closest...
"P" got married at an early age (22)... And I salute this guy, because even at an early age, he was able to mold himself as a real father figure (hmmmm what a coincidence, we called him "father" also back in highschool)... he was a very proficient bread winner... very hard-working. Now, he's got 2 kids, a nice house to call home, a good job & a car... all acquired within the span of about 7years... whew... God is really Good!
"A" got married a little more of a year ago (or is it 2?)... A very decent, Godly, Good-hearted kind of a guy... A friend of everybody... His wife just recently delivered their first baby... Both of them are in London now... A good life also awaits them...

Two of us are left... both committed... and are making preparations...
Who'll go first?
I dunno about him (secret daw eh), but for me and my bebe we plan it to be on.... shhhhh (only my bebe and i knows the date... secret din). I love you so much my bebe!

ooops...
my bebe just sent me a ym...
its already 12:30a.m. and i didn't even notice it...
will just continue the recapitulation tomorrow...

CIAO!

...
...
...
...now where was i again... (i seem to be always lost)...
One from our batch in TGSS got hitched last December...
A hush-hush marriage...
I mean, nobody from our batch was supposed to know about it... But since i know already, does it still count? Well, don't worry, I won't tell who... Hmmmm, well, maybe if you treat me out to lunch (say via mare?),... maybe then i'll tell... hehehe

And another one is also getting ready to tie the knot... on the 26th of this month...
Back in highschool we call him "Mother" or should i say "mader"... he's a guy by the way... but not gay... it's just a monicker we gave him because of his name...
... No his name does not sound gay!... but it does sound vampirish...
its just that there's this song before back then when... uhm... well, its a long story...

Well whadayuknow,... we have a "mother" and a "father" as schoolmates back then, hehehe...

Everybody's getting into it...
Tying the knot...
Crossing the bridge...
Living it out with their partners...
And being happy about it (all of them i hope, hehehe...)

In all honesty, I'm excited to be in that "group" (if you may call it that)
And I'm looking forward to it with my bebe... very soon...
And with God's guidance, I wanna be a
Good husband...
Good provider...
Good father...

Amen to that.
